Jonathan Tonge

Jonathan is the lead associate in Andersen, Tate & Carr’s sex trafficking division. He has focused his scholarship and passions on sex trafficking litigation for the past five years.

Jonathan graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law magna cum laude in 2016. Prior to joining the firm, he clerked for the Honorable Timothy C. Batten, Sr. of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and gained a wide variety of litigation experience with Atlanta area law firms.

During law school, Jonathan served as the Executive Editor of the Georgia Journal for International and Comparative Law and published scholarly work on lawsuits against companies who benefit from human trafficking. Jonathan also worked in the Wilbanks Child Endangerment and Sexual Exploitation Clinic, which represents survivors of childhood sexual abuse in civil litigation, and where he studied trauma-informed representation.  He also served on the boards of the Red Clay Conference, an annual conference designed to raise public awareness of environmental issues in the state and region, and the Working in the Public Interest Conference, focused on lawyers working for social justice and human rights.
